China's offshore platform localization rate has reached 60%

Wang Jianzhong, President of CIMC Raffles Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd., attended and delivered a speech. When it comes to offshore platforms, it said that it has been nearly a decade for Chinese companies to really get involved in deepwater drilling. The localization rate was less than 10% before, but it has reached 60%. The construction period has been shortened from 50 months to 30 months, covering the world. Major oil producing areas, including the Norwegian North Sea, where the sea conditions are the worst, have made great progress and have gained industrial confidence in the field.
